§ 10.36.030. No parking zones.

  • The following described areas at the locations set forth herein are designated as no parking zones, and parking is prohibited at all times in the zones; the zones shall be appropriately marked with signs and other markings in compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways and shall be maintained in good condition at all times by the landlord or tenant:

    A.

    The roadway adjacent to the curbed sidewalks adjoining the westerly sides of the building located at 501 Springfield Avenue (Lot 1, Block 206), as shown on a plan entitled "501 Springfield Avenue, No Parking Zones, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    B.

    The roadway adjacent to the curbed sidewalk adjoining the north side of the building located at 528 Springfield Avenue (Lot 4, Block 612), as shown on a plan entitled "528 Springfield Avenue, No Parking Zones, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    C.

    The driveway area between the building located at 442 Springfield Avenue (Lot 14, Block 702) and the building located at "438 Springfield Avenue (Lot 15, Block 702), as shown on a plan entitled 438-442 Springfield Avenue, No Parking Zones, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    D.

    The driveway leading from Springfield Avenue to the rear of the buildings located at 411, 415 and 417 Springfield Avenue (Lot 18, Block 208), as shown on a plan entitled "411-417 Springfield Avenue, No Parking Zones, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    E.

    The roadway adjacent to the curbed sidewalk adjoining the north side of the building from the northwest corner of the whole building to a point one hundred twenty (120) feet easterly thereof, and the driveways on the east and west sides of the building located at 398 through 408 Springfield Avenue (Lot 19, Block 208). Parallel parking for six cars will be allowed along the curbed sidewalk adjoining the north side of the building beginning a point one hundred twenty (120) feet east of the northwest corner of the building, provided that a distance of forty (40) feet is provided from the curbed sidewalk to the first row of cars in the main parking lot, all as shown on a plan entitled "396-412 Springfield Avenue, No Parking Zones, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, dated 1971, revised 1972";

    F.

    The roadway adjacent to the sidewalk adjoining the northerly sides of the building and not within three feet of the west side of the building located on Lot 17, Block 702, as shown on a plan entitled "434 Springfield Avenue, now occupied by Foodtown Stores, No Parking Zones, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights";

    G.

    The driveway commencing at Plainfield Avenue and leading to the north and east sides of Columbia School and thence back to Plainfield Avenue, located on Lot 17, Block 1204, and the driveway adjacent to the curbed sidewalk adjoining the north side of Columbia School, as shown on the plan entitled "No Parking Zones, Columbia School, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    H.

    The driveway adjacent to the curbed sidewalk adjoining the north side of the Mountain Park School, located on Lot 30, Block 1607, as shown on the plan entitled "No Parking Zones, Mountain Park School, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    I.

    The driveway adjacent to the curbed sidewalk adjoining the east side of the Woodruff School for a distance of fifty (50) feet on either side of the main entrance to the school, located on Lot 16, Block 801, as shown on the plan entitled "No Parking Zones, Woodruff School, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    J.

    The driveway adjacent to the curbed sidewalk adjoining the south side of the Early Childhood Development Center, (Lot 26, Block 2006), as shown on the plan entitled "No Parking Zones, Hamilton Terrace School, Engineering Department, Township of Berkeley Heights, 1971";

    K.

    The roadway adjacent to Lot 3, Block 506 (630 Springfield Avenue) from the present driveway opening in the southerly curbline of Springfield Avenue west along such curbline for a distance of thirty-five (35) feet.
