§ 8.36.090. Cessation of work.

The board of health may order any or all work of any kind, in, on, or around any individual sewage disposal system which is being performed in violation of any portion of this chapter, to be stopped forthwith and until appropriate steps have been approved to correct or remove the violation. Upon issuance of any such stop work order or notice of violation and the service of a copy of same upon any person in possession of the premises at which such work is being performed, or upon any person connected with or working in and about such disposal system, or any part thereof, all work shall stop and shall not be resumed until so directed by the board of health.
