Article 5.14. MUNICIPAL PURPOSE BULLETIN BOARDS  


A municipal purpose bulletin board may be erected to advise the public of information, including the scheduling of events, that is of general public interest. Such boards shall be subject to the following restrictions and requirements:

1.

It shall be located within the public right-of-way, upon governmentally owned land, or upon private land where permission has been granted to the Township by recorded agreement.

2.

The message area shall not exceed 42 square feet.

3.

The message area shall be on one side only and the back side shall be attractively finished and adequately screened and landscaped.

4.

The design and location of each such board shall be approved by the Township Committee before installation.

5.

The use of the board shall be governed by a written policy including rules and regulations adopted by the Township Committee.
